Fun in the Robins Class with Morah Gail & Zack

MAKING CONNECTIONS

As the year comes to an end the children have formed connections with their peers. Whether it be through a shared mutual activity or interest it has just taken shape.

In the playground the children climb, bike and run, finding the activity enhanced as their classmates participate along side them. Questions are asked, “Do you want to run with me?” “Let’s go get some gas at the station near the end of the playground!”

As the children sit together the conversation is rich with the details of their lives. What is your favorite color or, who is featured on their t-shirt. As familiarity grows, so too does the sense of trustand friendship. These shared experiences come to form the basis of strong connections and bonds.

To further foster these kinds of experiences, we have lunch together, with teacher facilitation the discussion continues, as we review the events of the day, and pursue the children’s interests.

Shalom,

Morah Gail and Zack
