Wow only eight
more school days until Pesach 
break and so much we have
accomplished! We have been working very hard on our Haggadahs to have them finished next week. The kids had fun using sticky
cellophane for water in our picture
of the splitting of the sea. It was fun using pastels on their "Four Questions" page. We shredded paper to use as marror (horseradish) on top of green "lettuce" tissue paper.
The children stamped matzahs with brown paint in their Haggadah and outside continued with paint stamping washing cups, kiddush cups and grape juice bottles in addition to the matzah. On Monday we took out the sugar cubes to make our own pyramids,
just like we did in Egypt. The kids got really creative making all kinds of structures. As a class we made a large pyramid and I asked the children what would happen if we poured water on it.....some didn't know and others guessed correctly that it would melt. This was a really cool experiment for them to watch! We finished decorating our Pesach pillows and Afikomen bags! We started sanding and painting our Seder plates and will be finishing
them this week as well. In circle time we have been practicing the Mah Nishtana (4 Questions), a song about the 10 plagues and another song with motions for each step of the seder.
